Some rumblings out of Madison that QB Jack Coan has broken his foot. Not good news if true.

Nothing confirmed, of course, with the ultra tight-lipped staff in Madison.
Ehh, they usually let Jeff know at some point.

in the grand scheme, Wisconsin is probably in as good of shape as it has ever been to have a situation like this. I feel bad for him, but he will have the opportunity to see it play out, and if the young guy establishes himself, Jack should be able to find himself a team to lead if that is what he desires.

That sucks.

Hopefully no one has traded in their cheese head for a Coan head yet.

Depth chart is out. OL and DL are in really good shape right now.

True frosh Nick Herbig is a co-starter at OLB. Chenal and Sanborn are the starters at ILB.

Depth looks pretty nice all over the board, except at tailback. Need someone (Berger, Davis) to emerge there.

depth looks very good

plenty of redshirt seniors and redshirt juniors stacking the starting spots and the two-deep

easier to play sound football when the two-deep isn't full of youngsters that don't have the reps in practice and reps in games
