Terps, tell me about the Brand kid transferring to WVU.
He rarely saw action on a terrible team.

I saw something earlier he was leaning that way.  Mathis should transfer out I think.  Maybe we should view UGA as the "Cradle of QBs" now?

Georgia is also holding a commitment from 5-star prospect Brock Vandergriff of Bogart.

There's a certain art to piling up highly-rated QB prospects and then letting them transfer out over a few years.

JT Daniels was unsuccessful in competing and staying healthy for playing time at USC but he’ll somehow has a better chance at Georgia Vs the SEC...:73:

This is where I ask what Georgia is thinking? Could’ve used his scholarship elsewhere.

If he does do you think he's looking E.Lansing Way?

I guess Mathis had some sort of brain surgery?  I feel bad for him - he was pledged to OSU but flipped at the last second amid rumors Fields was coming.  He expressly said it was about their depth chart, which isn't looking nearly as friendly now.

He had an anuerysm, it was serious, emergency surgery last spring.  I don't see any room for him at UGA.  I thought they would be fine with the Wake Forest QB.

Daniels was hurt last year, and still may not get clearance to play this season.  It's a strange choice to me, both ways.  He might have picked say Duke and been assured of starting right away with a good QB coach at the helm.

He was originally committed to Iowa State, flipped to Michigan State, flipped to Ohio State, flipped to Georgia

Treating JT Daniels like a 5 star QB is like a college treating a student on academic probation like a National Merit Scholar because that student was a high school valedictorian. Yes Daniels was a 5 star guy, but since then he's built an injury history, couldn't/wouldn't beat out a nearly un-recruited 3 star for his old job, and was probably only starting in the first place because of prep hype.

Pure speculation, but I believe Georgia is bringing in JT Daniels simply because they can. Reminds me of when USC would stock pile QBs like Mitch Mustain more so to keep them away from any potential competition.
