Nebraska Football Spring Game

Tickets & Gate Information

All fans are asked to remain in their assigned seating location in order to maintain the approved seating and health protocols.
Gates at Memorial Stadium will open two hours prior to kickoff at 11 a.m. All stadium gates will be open with the exception of Gates 1, 3, 6, 8, 11 and 17. Gate 15 will be reserved for ADA patrons specifically ticketed for that gate.

The apron areas behind the benches on both the East and West sides of Memorial Stadium will not be available to the public.  Fans must enter and exit their section through the corresponding vomitory off the main concourse level. With the field level not being accessible, it is important that fans enter the gate printed on their ticket.

>> One quick note on recruiting this weekend: Nebraska is not hosting anyone. Recruits in attendance at the spring game will have to pay their way to be there. Nebraska’s coaches are not able to have any contact with them, including something as simple as a wave.

Congrats to the baseball Huskers, who won the Big Ten title with a 9-0 romp Sunday over Ohio State and secured an automatic berth in the NCAA tournament.

» The Huskers led the league and were 12th nationally in fielding percentage. They grounded into the league’s second-fewest double plays and had the league’s second-fewest wild pitches. Headed into Sunday, they had issued the league's fewest walks. In other words, they hurt themselves less often than their opponents hurt themselves.

Lincoln – For the second week in a row a Nebraska pitcher was named Big Ten Pitcher of the Week, as senior Chance Hroch was selected by the conference office on Tuesday morning. Cade Povich earned the award for the second time this season last week.

Hroch produced one of the top performances of his career last Saturday in Bloomington, Ind., as he notched his first complete game with a career-high 9.0-inning effort against the Hoosiers in a 3-1 win.

Hroch matched a career high with 10 strikeouts and allowed just one run on three hits in front of a national TV audience on ESPNU. The Temecula, Calif., native faced the minimum in an inning five times, including the sixth, seventh and eighth innings. Hroch was one out away from a complete-game shutout, but gave up a solo home run to Grant Richardson in the bottom of the ninth.

#ThrowbackHuskerThursday! 1936, Dana Bible talks with players at practice. The Huskers would win their sixth conference title with the coach. Each Big 6 game was also won by shutout.

Lincoln – The Nebraska baseball team (31-12) capped the 2021 regular season on Saturday with a doubleheader spit against the Michigan Wolverines (27-17) in front of a season-high crowd of 7,650. The Wolverines took game one, 2-0, and then the Huskers responded with a 5-3 victory to take the weekend series, as NU took the opener on Friday, 1-0.

Michigan entered the weekend with a Big Ten-high 300 runs on the season in 41, an average of 7.3 runs per game. Nebraska's pitching staff limited the Wolverines to a total of five runs over the three-game series.

Saturday's crowd was the 24th largest in the 20-year history of Hawks Field and the largest crowd to see a Big Ten baseball game. The previous high for a Big Ten game was on April 15, 2017, when 7,416 fans watched the Huskers host the Iowa Hawkeyes.
