Despite a late push from Clemson, Jimmy Fritzsche chooses UNL.   Don't care about the 3 star rating.    Clemson has had an eye for talent and imo, this is a big win.

This is probably non-news to most of y'all, but I'm actually pretty stoked about this one.

Iowa just landed 3-star RB Shadrick Byrd this morning.  His other P5 offers included Duke, UNC, Tennessee, Vandy, Louisville, and Wake Forest. 

What makes this kid special (to me, at least)?  He played for Thompson High School - the same school system my daughter attends.  I'll be cheering extra hard for him.  I hope he plays with a huge chip on his shoulder since neither Bama nor Auburn gave him the time of day.

Also, the Hawks picked up Yahweh Jeudy at LB.  In case you're wondering, he's Jerry Jeudy's cousin.  He was originally a K-State commit, but flipped to Iowa due to coaching turmoil.

I don't view it like that. Lots of kids leave Wisconsin without offers from the home school - good for them. No harm there.


I'd love to see Nate Stanley in red, but Gerry didn't offer him and Chryst was too late with his. Oh well. I'm not gonna blame Kirk for that one.

My favorite Bo story is having an OC say the TE is an outdated position in CF.... yet you have a TE coach on your staff.  

btw.. don't forget Ott who went to Iowa.   slight mistake that was obvious to the "fans".
