nice little blurb about 5* ATH Quavaris Crouch (6'3, 225) of North Carolina from the Clemson 247 site.

"If 247Sports Composite five-star athlete Quavaris Crouch was considered a Tennessee lean entering the season, I wonder what's going through his head right now. His relationship with Tennessee's staff, including Jeremy Pruitt, might be enough for the Vols to overcome a dismal start to the season but that's TBD. Reminder, he takes an official to Michigan on Oct. 13, FSU on Oct. 24, and he's eyeing the Duke game or sometime in December for his Clemson official.

Michigan might be the team to beat right now, and after talking with him last month, I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. Don't count out Clemson, though."

Also, maybe the top Ohio guy over at 247 Bill Kurelic says Michigan is the major threat to Ohio State for 5* DE Zach Harrison.

would be huge to land them both. Crouch would probably play OLB and Harrison weakside end.

The Badgers got a really nice kicker/punter to commit as a PWO with a 'ship coming in the sophomore year.

Seems like the real deal.

Those gets are so underrated. Zoltan Mesko changed games for Michigan. Will Hart wasn't so highly rated but he's doing the same as punter now - best distance in the nation so far, I recall seeing. Then, Quinn Nordin is a bit of an enigma early (looking like a true master of 50+ FGs but a few disappointing XP and FG misses from up close).

I remember King Barry, after the 1998 season, talking about "hidden yards" during a game. He said that UW averaged over 100 yards more per game than their opponents, on special teams.

That is HUGE.

That's right. Every yard earned is a yard, no matter its phase of the game.

MSU adds 3* J.D. Duplain from OH.

All of the services list him as an OG, and he would be MSU's 5 OL recruit this cycle.  But some talk that MSU likes him more as a DT.

Had offers from Maryland, Pitt, Indiana, Kentucky, but just took a visit to Clemson a couple weeks back, and there were rumors an offer was coming soon from there.  Wonder if a commitment now is a result of hearing Clemson wasn't offering, and you wonder what happens if that offer comes at a later date.
And whattayaknow, now OSU swoops in with a late offer

That’s huge. Mike Hart flips a top RB recruit from Urban and OSU.

MAN do I wish Mike Hart was the RBs coach at Michigan. This has to happen. ASAP. Maybe John Harbaugh can hire his nephew as a NFL coach and there’s an opening. A guy can dream right?

Badgers flipped TE Clay Cundiff from the Jayhawks over the weekend. Should be done recruiting that position now, with 2 in the fold.
