I hope that means they know they are getting Mertz to flip from UW. They've been on him like stink on shit.

Mathis makes more sense than Mertz for OSU imo.

I don't know why Urbz even goes after the pocket passers. His best successes at the QB position have been guys that are better runners than passers.

Josh Harris, Alex Smith, Tim Tebow, JT Barrett.

Nebraska added another thoroughbred to its stable of running backs, as Bergen Catholic four-star Rahmir Johnson announced on Saturday his commitment to the Cornhuskers.

The commitment came to Nebraska over Boston College, Ole Miss and Rutgers, the other teams that rounded out his top. Johnson holds 15 offers overall.

The 5-foot-10, 173-pound running back, who committed earlier in the week, told friends and family his plans on Saturday, and stated to 247Sports the opportunity to help Nebraska rise again in college football was too great.

When is it time to take the "senseless" out of the title of this topic? I mean, it's on full swing. Maybe we need a senseless 2020 recruiting thread.

I can't believe I just typed 2020.

Was thinking the same.  Granted I think "senseless" belongs in every recruiting thread title.

He reaffirmed to the OSU 247 guy, and then on Twitter that he has no plans on changing his mind.
None of it means anything til you have ink on paper.

UM adds 3* OT Karsen Barnhart from MI.  There was some oddness with his recruitment when he apparently tried to commit a week ago, but seems like that is all cleared up.  Really athletic, certainly enough to stick at tackle, but he looks more like a guard.  Will be interesting to see where he sticks.
he's been getting rave reviews on the recent camp circuits that just started. Sounding like he could stick at tackle.
State of MI is loaded with OL this class. It's crazy. Logan Brown, Devontae Dobbs, Anthony Bradford, Karsen Barnhart, and Spencer Brown are all P5 quality OL recruits. Not sure the state has ever had 5 in one year like that.

Definitely a "flip" candidate, with M and O trying to get him to make a visit, but for now, this kid is a Badger and plans an early enrollment.

Nolan Groulx has been waiting months to verbally commit to Wisconsin. Ever since his unofficial in June, Groulx has been eager to return to Madison to give head coach Paul Chryst his pledge.

On Saturday, he finally got the chance.

Becoming commitment No. 7 for the Badgers in their 2019 recruiting class, one of the nation's most prolific wide receivers opted to take his talents to UW.

De-committed.

Bradford just committed to LSU.  Is he from out of state?  I didn't hear a peep about UM or MSU even being involved, which feels odd for an in state 4* recruit.  McCall, you always heard major, major, major academic red flags, such that he may never play, so that one made sense.
