Targeting looks like it from one angle and not so much from another, often as not.  I'm OK with its being waved off much of the time, unless it's obvious.

the Hawks won in spite of the no call

playing at home sometimes has a slight advantage

the Hawk fans I deal with whine about officiating win or lose

Whoever is watching this PAC 12 CCG the attendance is pitiful. Take note of how carefully the cameras are avoiding the stands. Moving this game to Vegas next year should help. Nobody likes this Santa Clara stadium.

There's about 4.5 million people in the SF Bay area....I'll bet there are more college football fans in any SEC or B10 college town metro area of under 1 mil.
