Will you be back in country the first weekend of December?
Yes, we get to Miami on November 20th and will be back in Chicago on the 21st. Thanksgiving is the following weekend, then the CCG's happen. So we could be in Indy or elsewhere that weekend.

Personally I prefer destinations that also will have an attractive football game to attend for those who want to check one out. I'm also down to have y'all come down for an ASU game too.

But if we're gonna do a destination without an attractive game to attend Nashville of course is fine, but I'd also like to nominate Las Vegas (CCG weekend most likely) as well.
I thought I settled my debts that night on the ride home
But I have still got hell to pay

Badge, that's an awesome trip.

Here's the link to the 2018 schedule grid, which contains entries from both our own schools and potential destinations.

Vandy is at home on Saturday, November 17, 2018. Not that it matters, but it's there and they are playing Ole Miss. Not that it matters. It is IMPOSSIBLE to not have fun in that City.

Sold.

As always with trips like this, thanks for the heads up.

This might not be a readily appealing game, but it's appealing in the sense we'll all be able to get affordable seating together. (Attended a Vandy game back in 2006.)

Also open to other ideas as the board collective decides.

Yeah, so after I posted that idea we booked a cruise from Barcelona to Miami. I'll be on board during that weekend, but as I said, feel free to do it without me, or, option B, we do Nashville for 2019 and something else next year.

It's the board's decision - not mine. I only facilitate these days.

I put @eltigrerex in charge years ago anyway. Hah!!

I would like to second the nomination for ASU.
It was a mission of Gatorama's to try and get a game out there, but we had put it off for the renovations to be completed.  In honor of Gatorama, and because I would love to get over there to check out a game, I would be very interested in seeing it happen in Arizona if there is some consensus and interest.
It looks like the home games on the list Gopher provided are the following:
Sept 1 - UTSA
Set 8 - Michigan State
Sept 29 - Oregon State
Nov 3 - Utah
Nov 10 - UCLA
Nashville was fun, but been there/done that.  I would truly enjoy checking out a newly renovated stadium and go to a new town I haven't been to yet.  Of course that is just my input, and I make no decisions around here, but putting it out there anyway.  This will probably be the only suggestion I make on the topic, but regardless of what is chosen I do hope to attend.  I enjoy the Board Meetings immensely, both for the games and for the chance to see everyone, and am looking forward to getting another one on my schedule.

I'm guessing the weather would be better in November

Ehhhhh, September would be fine as well, unless you are afraid of melting or something.  I heard this "Dry Heat" thing is much more tolerable than our muggy-Houston heat, so it would likely be an upgrade in weather conditions for me, personally, any time of year.  ;)
Plus doesn't it cool off in the evening?   I mean, we only have "hot" and "less-hot" over in these parts in September, but my understanding of that part of the country is that it can be summer and fall all in the same day depending on if the sun is out or not.
Was thinking that Michigan St game would have more interest from you B1G folks.

I'm headed out there in April and again at Christmas, to visit family. Otherwise, I'd be a likely attendee. It's a fun place on game day, along Mill Street and some of the tailgating too.

As for the "dry heat" bulljive... Stick your head in an oven. It's dry, and it's f'ing HOT. At night in September it cools off for sure, down to about 90.  :03:

You're comparing some 90 degree temps to a 350 degree oven?  Hahha, oooookayyy.
Well, I'm out then. This is precisely why I said I wouldn't make suggestions, but I did and that's it.  Let me know what you decide then.
