NCAA did their 'top 10' according to their selection committee.  This is through this past weekend, does not consider tonight's results, such as PSU over MSU or Florida sweeping Kentucky in Lex.
The top 4 seeds will 'host' the regionals.   I'm kind of surprised by these, but as with the CFP, tons of matches left here.

RANKSCHOOLRECORD
1Penn State21-1
2Nebraska18-4
3Minnesota21-2
4Stanford19-2
5Kentucky19-2
6Florida18-1
7Texas17-2
8Washington18-5
9Oregon14-6
10Wisconsin15-6

My explanation for that would be,  1. The B1G is the bomb, and they are on top of it for now, having defeated everybody (sweeping at PSU, splitting H&H with UW, handling MN, two over MSU, @ Purdue).  The B1G has an unbalanced schedule, so only ranked opp will be Purdue at home, and then tOSU once the rest of the way, besides helpings of Mland, Rutgers, NW, etc, so the RPI will drop a little.    2. The losses (at Fla, neutral Oregon) were without their starting AA setter.  Of course nearly everybody else has a similar injury story to relate as well.   The WTF loss was in four sets to UNI in Omaha (a definite tourney team).

They have no margin of error IMO to finish in top 4.  I think Penn State can lose one more (at UW) and stay up in top 4.

Stanford lost twice to Penn State (though likely NPOY Plummer was not well/sick in those matches).  They are pretty much dominating a very very deep Pac 12, which doesn't have any other elite teams, as U-Dub has had tons of injuries.  Otherwise,  it's kind of a RPI heavy top 10.  I would expect Fla. to rise into the top 4.

No, Texas beat Nebraska last year at the FF, not this year.  Meanwhile Texas just managed to rally down 2-0 at last place K-State to win in 5 (15-11).   The XII is really bad.  UT needs a setter, what else is new.

MSU's passing was off last night.   #4 had a rough game and didn't seem her typical self

I'd expect Florida to be one of the 4 if they continue to dominate.  They'll move one of the BIG teams out

I didn't watch much.  Didn't get home from work til nearly 7:30, ate dinner, and then World Series is obviously going to trump it.

I think MSU is probably the 5th best team in the conference, and can beat the 3rd and 4th best (Minnesota and Wisconsin) when they are on.  But Penn State and Nebraska seem on another level.

Says the fan of a team that lost to Northern Iowa?  And a loss to the same Oregon team that Texas beat?  And also, scoreboard, BEEEEEEYYYYOTCCCHHH!!!!

But yeah, could use a setter for sure.

Still good enough to bounce the Husker last year.  And most likely this year, too.  :)

Oh and lulz, you know that KSU team you're laughing at Texas for barely beating?  Well I just checked the schedules and it turns out they beat that Husker-killing Northern Iowa team. So.... yeah... about that...

I hope and pray the Huskers and Horns face off in the playoff again this year.  Husker tears are SO delicious!
