Wow, an 18-6 run to erase a 9 point deficit and get the 3-0 sweep.

Pair of road wins over undefeated top 5 teams, ending a 40 game home winning streak in the process.

I'd be willing to put that up against any weekend of any school this year.

Do we get the Axe now?

Uh, no.    Minnesota has a quality 2017 resume thus far, including winning at UT, return a very nice lineup, including an AA setter.    They'll be in the mix again to host a regional this year.

RE: #2 Penn State.  They defeated Stanford twice this year (neutral sites) already,  I'll admit that was a little surprising how Nebraska dispatched with PSU.  Save, Simone Lee, they looked flatfooted and disorganized.   Nebraska likely has a mental edge on Penn State's roster now, as they've had their number like nobody else.

I would expect another season of musical chairs at the top of the rankings.   Hosting a regional is still the ultimate prize.

Minnesota with a head scratching performance in Lincoln tonight.  They had a feverish rally in set one and lost 25-21, but were blown off the court 25-18, 25-13.  Nebraska moves to 3-0 in the B1G and the Badgers come to visit Sat night.

Mich looked good, I watched some of this one, beating tOSU in 4 sets.  UW beat Iowa.

That was a nasty match, not pretty vball at all, but a fun match.   UW dominated the first two, and frankly played like a turtle in a shell in that 5th, like they didn't even win the first two sets.     Home crowd gets one for Huskers tonight.  B1G volleyball is tons of fun people.    I don't know how women's basketball gets more love and TV time over vball.  (I know why, but it makes no sense).

MSU comes to Lincoln next week, UW gets Minnesota.

MSU has (always) served well vs N, and has clipped Nebraska in EL twice, and took them to 5 the last two visits.   Match is winnable.
