Set 2 and 4 might be the best I've seen UNL play all year.   Florida has athletes and size.  They were a tough matchup.  UNL was just on fire and extremely focused.  

Cook is incredible.   With all the turnover on the staff and graduating that many seniors... to win it all.  Outstanding job.   Of all the coaches at UNL, he's the one who deserves the raise.    I'd say it's official.  UNL is a volleyball school.

Very impressive.   Of the 5 titles they have won this is the one I never saw coming.  I'm positive Cook would admit this team has the least elite talent of any final four level team.   Not winning in 94, 05 or last year were big disappointments as those three teams frankly were all superior to this roster talent wise but they didn't get it done.  The balance and defense were off the charts.  That Florida team was stacked.

Perhaps that's the new efficiency in volleyball.

crazy how well they played the 4th set.  Take away the huge mental blunders of a bad rotation and an in the net error and it's even more impressive

She graduated early, enrolled in the spring and redshirted for the Beach VB team. Redshirted as a freshmen, then played for the Beach VB team. Rode the bench this year as a serve specialist, got a ring, and will play a second/third year of beach VB before her redshirt Sophomore campaign. 

All to get beat out by a true freshman.
