Msu has the talent to win this.  Psu is in everybody's head in the B1G except Nebraska for some reason.

Psu is gonna serve all match at the msu fr.libero.  if she can receive ok, Michigan St. Can make this a match.  Gotta slow down Haleigh and serve aggressively which they know how to do.

I just watched that 4th set of Ill v MSU, I thought they botched a close deflection call that cost Msu match point at 27.  Autumn Bailey then dominated w a kill and wicked ace to win it.  Bailey, a Marquette transfer btw.

I guess I'm pullin' for the Huskers now.
But only after I have Tanya Harding pay Kelly Hunter a visit.

Man, Minnesota looked bad tonight in that 3rd set.      USC 3-0

Bob Lanier's daughter (OH) on USC was elite.  She's got USNT potential.   Meanwhile Utah making Texas sweat here tonight.

In case I pass out watching this final match of the night.

Pretty chalky Elite 8.  UK seeking first ever Final Four.  UF hasn't been since 2005, often a bridesmaid.  USC's coach has UF's coach's #.   Michigan State's first Elite 8 since 1996.  Pac12 trying to save a little face.

Lexington winner will play State College winner in Final Four,  Gainesville winner vs Palo Alto winner.

All Matches Saturday on ESPNU, Eastern Time.
Lexington Regional
4pm: #5 Nebraska at #4 Kentucky

Gainesville Regional
6pm #10 USC at #2 Florida

State College Regional
8pm Michigan State at #1 Penn State

Palo Alto Regional
10pm #6 Texas vs #3 Stanford

Yup, Horns just get by the Utes in 5.  Gonna be tough to beat the trees at home tonight, but hopefully last night's scare will bring a little more focus to the team.

I was glad that UK brought it, eventually tonight.  Nebraska can't cruise to the Final Four and expect to clobber psu/msu winner.

Nice to see USC v UF developing nicely. #16 on USC is bob Lanier daughter.   Check out her feet.

Final Four (Thursday: 7pm est on ESPN)  Finals are Saturday on espn2.

#5 Nebraska vs #1 Penn State, 7pm EST
#3 Stanford  vs #2 Florida,  30 minutes after first match.

Titles
Penn State and Stanford each have 7
Nebraska 4
Florida 0

FF Appearances
Stanford 21st
Nebraska 14th
Penn State 13th
Florida 7th.

All Time Series
Nebraska 20-10 versus Penn State, including winning last six in a row, including a sweep at PSU this Sept.
Nebraska 8-3 versus Florida,  Florida beat Nebraska in Gainesville this August
Stanford 6-4 versus Florida,  last meeting 2014 NCAA.
Stanford 8-6 versus Nebraska, last meeting 2014.
Penn State 12-9 versus Stanford, PSU beat Stanford twice this season on neutral courts.
Penn State 8-3 versus Florida, last meeting 2013
I think each of these matchups has occurred at least once at the FF, except for N v UF.

Florida's Mary Wise (coach since '91) is easily the best coach not to win a title in Vball history.
I've watched all these teams at least 5 teams each this season, I honestly don't know how Nebraska can win two matches.  I know they are really balanced, have a great setter, have great passing, play very well together (save some weird moments tonight vs UK).   As good as M. Foecke is, she's not in the league of 'terminator' as Plummer (Stanford), Lee (PSU), or Alhassen (UF).    Stanford is probably as balanced, has a world class libero, better block and either the POY, or co-POY (Lee being the other).     I'll be pulling for UF, if Nebraska can't get it done.

PSU has to be due to beat Nebraska, right?  Nebraska seems to be in their head a bit, especially after blowing a 2-0 lead at N in the sweet sixteen last year.  This won't be in Lincoln, but KC.

The semifinal will once and for all determine who the "real" 2017 Big Ten VB Champion is.

No way.
Penn State's loss to Nebraska was a better loss than Nebraska's loss to Wisconsin.
