Byu v UK on now.  Nice match.  Looks like it may go 5.   Very similar colors.  I noticed BYU has gone more navy recently.

BYU looked like the better side for most of the match, but Kentucky gritted one out.

Agree.   The errors really killed BYU.   BYU got lucky, I think, at the end of the 3rd, with the girls hand hitting the net, apparently the ball must have been down (out) which ends the play before the net touch.  They didn't have audio on at the bar I was watching.

Really nice opening match for the day, spilled well into PSU/Mizzou, which of course will be over in about 80 minutes.   PSU hitting way over .400 so far.

Both the announcers and I agree with you, but apparently they couldn't conclusively determine if it was her hand or her braid.  Seemed clear to me.

Penn State cruised to a sweep.   Nebraska pretty sharp in set 1 (I'm not watching, back at work).   Checking the box,  man does Colorado rely on Alexa Smith.  17 attacks in the first set.  That's a huge number.   I guess I'm not used to Nebraska having a dominant 'go to' OH like that.  I know BYU set Jones-Perry a million times (probably 60, but that's 5 sets).

Colorado made that 2nd set (25-11) easy for Nebraska.  8 errors.   Alexa had 12 attacks that set.  Getting dug (no surprise).  My friend said the gym is a ghost town now, I guess UK fan was exhausted which I don't blame them.  Hard to sit through 4+ hours, after a draining 5 set match.

UCLA v Florida now on (ESPNU)

MSU grinds out set 1.  25-23 Didn't start well, Holly Tollivar got them going midway, as their primary weapons were not sharp against Ill block.  As usual, some great serves by MSU.  Bailey did heat up there at the end for the Spartans. I need to stream this one.

Huskers get the sweep over CU.

UCLA won set one at Fla.  Should be some nice tight matches here.
