let's be honest- it's Barkley. Next question!

Taylor from Wisconsin would be my #2.

Easy.  The guy who led the conference in rushing by over 50 yards per game.

Man, the trio of Taylor, Barkley, and Dobbins are perhaps as good as I've seen in the B1G playing at the same time.

I voted Barkley - Taylor is a beast and looks like Beanie Wells, but Barkley is more likely to score and is a huge threat as a receiver as well (47 catches).  Dobbins led the conference in YPC.  Whenever there is a close call between a freshman and a not-a-freshman, I tend to go with not-a-freshman.  But those are three great running backs.

We had that six headed monster a couple years ago, where two guys had to be left out.  I think it was 2014.  Zeke, Melvin Gordon, Tevin Coleman, Ameer Abdullah, David Cobb and Jeremy Langford.

I think all six finished with over 1,500 rushing yards on the year.

For comparison, only Taylor had over 1,500 this year.  Dobbins was 2nd with 1,190, which would have been 7th in 2014.

I forgot about that - hell of year.  I think Cobb and Langford are out of the league, but these rest are pretty significant players.  Anyways, still - Barkley is being looked at as a top 10 pick and I think Taylor and Dobbins could be first round types as well (two years from now)

Barkley didn't have a great OL like Taylor. Taylor didn't have a great QB like Barkley. That's close to a wash, but the OL is more important to the success of a RB than a QB. Penn State's SoS was better. #2 SoS for PSU vs. #45 SoS for Wisconsin.

Barkley scored more TD's (22 total vs 13) and just does more all-around. Both are great. I'd go with Barkley. Can't lose. Both are great.

Really can't argue with that list.

Ty didn't get the carries, and with an inept offense (QB) the box was stacked against him.

Taylor would actually get my #1 though.

Barkley disappeared too often.

some of that was his offensive line. They went stretches where they flat out got dominated. I don't think it's 100% on Barkley. You give that guy any kind of a crease and he's housing out.
