Poll
#3 Maryland
#7 Northwestern
#17 Penn State
#25 J Hopkins

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How it will play out...

The three unranked teams, Ohio State, Rutgers and Michigan, have already gone 1-1 vs each other. They will most likely lose out to the ranked Big Ten teams remaining on each of their respective schedules, and finish in a three way tie for fifth/last place in the Big Ten at 1-5. None of the three will qualify for the Big Ten Tournament.

#25 Johns Hopkins has already gone 0-3 vs the three title contenders (Maryland, Northwestern and Penn St) with all but Maryland by a razor thin margin. They will most likely sweep out the remainder of the unranked Big Ten teams on their schedule in blowout fashion, and lock up the four seed in the Big  Ten Tournament at 3-3.

Title Contenders:
#3 Maryland - still has to play Northwestern and Penn State. The Northwestern game "should" be for the Title.
#7 Northwestern - already beat Penn St, will play Maryland for the Big Ten Regular Season Title.
#17 Penn State - If Maryland beats Northwestern, then Penn State can beat Maryland, which would force a three way tie for first place whereby all three teams went 1-1 against each other and finished 5-1.

ST. LOUIS -- Nebraska women's gymnast Danielle Breen was awarded the NCAA Elite 90 Award on Wednesday at the National Collegiate Women's Gymnastics Championship banquet in St. Louis.

Breen, a senior from Ames, Iowa, is the first Nebraska women's gymnast to win the award. The NCAA Elite 90 Award is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average participating at the finals site for each of the NCAA's championships. Breen, majoring in accounting, carries a 4.00 cumulative GPA. Breen was also awarded the University of Nebraska's Female Student-Athlete of the Year, presented to the student-athlete at Nebraska who exemplifies outstanding performance both in their respective sport and in the classroom. Breen adds the Elite 90 award to her impressive resume, as she was recently presented the Big Ten Medal of Honor, and recognized as an Outstanding Scholar at the University of Nebraska.
