Big Ten gets 5 teams into the men's soccer tournament.

Indiana (#2), Michigan State (#7) and Michigan (#13) got seeded, which means a bye to the Round of 32 on Sunday

Wisconsin, who came out of nowhere to win the Big Ten tourney and get in, hosts UI-Chicago on Thursday, winner travels to #12 Notre Dame

Maryland hosts Albany, winner travels to play #10 Western Michigan
Wisconsin beat UI-Chicago but Maryland was upset by Albany in the first round.

#2 Indiana and #7 Michigan State both held serve, 3-0 over Old Dominion and Virginia Tech in the 2nd round, but #13 Michigan was upset 3-2 at home by Colgate.  Wisconsin continued their miracle run by upsetting #12 Notre Dame, to join Indiana and MSU in the Sweet 16.

Indiana hosts unseeded New Hampshire (who upset #15 Dartmouth) on Saturday night; MSU hosts #10 Western Michigan on Sunday evening, and Wisconsin travels to #5 Akron on Saturday afternoon.

It looks like the OSU-Michigan Lacrosse game might be the opening act for the Spring FB Game again.

OSU Lacrosse is 6-0 vs Michigan all time. They have played each year that the Wolverines have had a Varsity Team; since 2012.

OSU went 3-0 vs Michigan as ECAC rivals; 2012-14.
/Michigan was technically a D1 Independent in 2012, as they played a transitional schedule.

OSU is off to a 3-0 start against Michigan so far, in the Big Ten LC; 2015-present

/Michigan has only once defeated a current Big Ten team either before or after the formation of the Conference; a two goal victory over Rutgers in 2015, propelling the Wolverines to a 1-1 start in the inaugural season of Big Ten play.
//Their current Big Ten losing streak began with the Buckeyes, that following week in 2015.

Scores: OSU-Michigan

ECAC

2012: 12-9

2013: 17-8

2014: 15-6

Big Ten

2015: 13-8

2016: 10-7

2017: 18-7

/The Wolverines will have two opportunities to end their three year Big Ten losing streak, before facing the Buckeyes in 2018.
//vs Maryland, and @ Rutgers.

MSU took a 1-0 lead at the half, IU got the equalizer in the 60th minute, then won in PKs to advance to the Final 4.

MSUs third Elite 8 in 5 years in soccer, lost there every time

Wisconsin, Minnesota and Ohio St sit atop the WCHA standings in W Ice Hockey.
/14 points separates those three from the rest of the pack. (North Dakota dropped w ice hockey this year, so it's just the MN quadruplettes)
//Penn State is floating along at .500 in the CHA Standings.

BUCKEYES OUTLAST NO. 22 MICHIGAN 78-71 IN OVERTIME

http://www.ohiostatebuckeyes.com/sports/w-baskbl/recaps/010718aaa.html

Kelsey Mitchell scored a season-high 37 points and the Buckeye defense stepped-up down the stretch to secure a key 78-71 overtime victory at No. 22 Michigan on Sunday.
.

Speaking of OSU Women's Hoops, the Buckeyes locked down Dublin Coffman PG Jacy Sheldon in their 2019 recruiting class.

So you can safely pencil in four straight Final Four runs, beginning in 2020.

MSU women's hoops thumps #11 Maryland by 14 in College Park.

First Big Ten team other than OSU to beat the Terps since they joined the conference.
