The Michigan OL from the past couple weeks is the Michigan OL that I had expected to see develop. Warriner is as good an OL Coach as there is. The guys are big and experienced.

Runyan is a 5th yr senior, Bredeson is a SR, Ruiz is a Jr, Onwenu is a SR. Only the RS Frosh Mayfield at RT is a young pup.

There was just too much coaching talent, player talent, and experience at OL for it to be as mediocre as it had been. Hopefully this is the OL we’ll see from here on out. If it is, Maryland has very little chance.

I think Haskins and Charbonnet are both legit RBs with some NFL potential. Probably the best backs that Michigan has had in a very long time.

Michigan’s defense looks a lot better to me since the emergence of Hutchinson, McGrone, and Dax Hill. I don’t see Maryland doing much against that defense.

Michigan’s defense looks the way it will always look if the offense keeps the defense fresh by staying on the field, and moving the chains

That’s what makes UM dangerous.

Texas might have something to say about over confidence and Maryland.

Fear the Turtle.
I love you man, but this is going to be a bloodbath.
Do you believe this is our homecoming game?
LOL!

That has helped them a bit too.

But to me the defense making a big jump and improving has mostly been about Hutchinson, McGrone, and Dax Hill.

McGrone looks like a bigger Devin Bush. Aidan Hutchinson is playing out of his mind right now and Dax Hill brings an athletic dimension at nickel/safety that Michigan has been lacking forever. Those are elite talents at each level of the defense and it’s taking the defense up a notch. Ambry + Vert are a damn good CB duo too.

Maryland earlier showed some offensive punch.  I suppose even wounded they might put up some points.

But I can't see an upset here.  I'd probably set the line around 30 or so myself.

Yup, that was the biggest issue.  Not coaching, not playcalling, not quarterback play.

QB play still way up there in terms of problems.

Shea has gotten worse from year 1 to year 2, just like Speight did. O’Korn actually got worse from his last season at Houston to his final years under Harbaugh. Peters never really developed either.

From what I’ve seen at Michigan, Harbaugh is toxic for QBs. I feel sorry for Dylan McCaffrey.

he could transfer to Nebraska and play with his younger brother.

Last week vs the Hoosiers

Luke McCaffrey 5-6-0-71 w/a TD passing

Luke McCaffrey 12-76 rushing

I had not watched Maryland before, they looked worse than I expected, especially the lines.

Locksley the offensive genius put up exactly.....0 points.

Michigan muffed a chip shot FG and had a busted kick coverage- otherwise it would’ve been 41-0 with Harbs taking the foot off the gas and putting in the backups late in the 3rd QTR.

That TD pass dropped in the end-zone vs Penn State looms large.

None of this matters until Harbs actually beats Ohio State- but this legitimately looks like a different team from the 2nd half on vs Penn State. The last 2 1/2 games- I don’t even recognize this team. It’s crazy.

LOL

You're a funny dude.

Michigan is loaded and Locks isn't calling plays, but buy into Levy's "called by Gattis" BS.

Congrats on the monumental win.
