I mean you can say that all you want it does not make it true. I prefer Lloyd Carr as a personality and his approach over Jeem. All day long. Jeem is in outer space. He’s still a better football coach. Very few have at the kind of success he’s had at every level of football.

b - who is OU's OC?  He's lazy.  Uhh, Idk what to call, let's just do a read-option where Mateer keeps it again.  
Their #1 play is hike the ball and have the QB mess around and get 2 yards.

He's a great football coach. But was he a great MICHIGAN football coach? 

His first 5 seasons were just "ok" for a team like Michigan. It also included numerous scandals. And he was 0-5 vs OSU during that stretch. The COVID season was terrible, but we can call that an outlier. Then his three successful seasons were marred by one of the worst cheating scandals in CFB history. And he ran out of town ahead of NCAA penalties as a result of that scandal.  

Carr had an equal number of national championship seasons for Michigan (1), 5 conference championships, and a better percentage H2H record vs OSU. And a clean off-field record over a decade that fans can be proud of having him represent their school.

You can argue Harbaugh is a better on-field coach over the history of his career. But IMHO his coaching performance AT Michigan doesn't clearly delineate him from Carr. So while I know you don't care about the off-field stuff, IMHO it makes at least a good tiebreaker. 

I'm with Badge on this one.

Lloyd Carr also took over a Michigan program in much better shape that was stocked with talent. Jeem had to completely rebuild it.

Fair point. 

But Carr was heavily involved (DC / Ass. HC) in the previous regime that led to his team being stocked with talent when he took over as HC.

Michigan’s OL showed some improvement as did QB Underwood.  The defense kept them in the game despite the stupid penalties.  Lots and lots to work on to get ready for late November.
