Yeah, but it's the players, too.  Yesterday the Texas kids were a lot more feisty.

I don't know if they did last night, but they've done it in the past.  Not every game, but every now and then, over the past 30 years since the song came out.

Was their own field crowned this time?

Lloyd Carr has been complaining about that for years

If you're going that often, you might need to get that ol' prostate checked. I don't think even you are downing enough Bud Fat to be going that often given there's a commercial like every 6 minutes...

sometimes I'm grabbing another bottle from the frig
sometimes I'm resting my eyes
sometimes I'm checking in on another game
sometimes I'm letting the dog out or back in

important stuff!

I don't think Sherrone Moore is the guy, but they need to figure out the offense.  Why pay $5 million for Bryce Underwood, for him to just hand the ball off and have obvious keepers.  Was part of the agreement that he had to start this year?  He clearly wasn't ready, and if he was, the staff clearly didn't think so.  That offense is a total mess against teams they can't overwhelm at the line

This is my take exactly. The offense was this:
1st down - run
2nd down - run
3rd down - pass

was crazy creative. Moore isn’t the guy.  It feels like different version of Juwan Howard with less historical hype. And Bryce Underwood is bad in a lot of areas. Can’t read defense. Sets his receivers and tight ends up to get destroyed over and over. Thinks he can outrun people and he can’t. Just not good and a terrible gameplan today

Yeah I get you want to develop a guy as a quarterback. But being a freak athlete doesn't help much if you don't ever run the ball. Underwood's final stat line was 8/18 for 63 yards and 6 carries for 1 yard. That's extremely terrible. Did he even have one designed run?
