8-4 with a chance at a 9th win in a bowl is a HELLUVA lot better than 7-5

not much chance of snow for the game but 27 degrees, 98% cloud cover, and 10mph breeze @ 11am kick make for a bleak football weather contest on the Plains

Can the Blackshirts stop the run, will the Frosh QB play well vs the solid Hawk defense???
Can the Hawks score a TD on defense or with special teams, the the transfer QB from South Dakota run for 100 yds?

If I were a betting man, I'd go with the under.  less than 39.5 total

probably decided by a FG late in the 4th.

Took a walk, maybe a shorter one than I wanted because the coffee wanted to run through me. Went to the store, chicken tenders on the managers special. 10 bucks for three pounds. Some homemade Raising Canes tonight.

Gonna start the day with a quick Costco run, then EIU @ Purdue basketball. Figure I'll watch Da Bears over UGA/GT. Then I'll be watching IU @ Purdue, at least for a half a quarter or so until it gets out of hand. 

All during that I'll be putting up Christmas decorations... Which is to say my job is to move stuff, lift stuff, and other general manual labor. Other than that, I set up the tree and light it, and do the outdoor lights. Can't help with hanging ornaments because my colorblindness makes it hard to spot any red ornaments on the tree. 

We're ordering pizza tonight.
