He is another leftist loon
President Harry S. Truman said: “The fundamental basis of this nation’s laws was given to Moses on the Mount.  The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teachings…  If we don't have the proper fundamental moral background, we will finally wind up with a totalitarian government which does not believe in rights for anybody except the state.”

His problem is that his company is located in Silicon Valley, where all the leftist loons live.
He should have the "screening" done in some place like Nebraska - and you wouldn't see the bias.

This probably explains a lot....

Facebook Has Dozens Of Former Obama And Hillary Staffers In Senior Positions

By the admission of Barack Obama’s former media analytics director, Carol Davidsen, the former president hoovered up far more data without users’ consent in 2012, when Facebook’s data policies were (as Facebook now concedes) far more vulnerable to exploitation than they were in 2016.

Mark Zuckerberg admits that, prior to its strengthening of user protections in 2014, Facebook made a critical error in allowing third-party apps to harvest data not just from users who gave them consent, but from their non-consenting friends. What he didn’t mention was the digital campaigning tools developed by Obama for America were among the apps that took advantage of this loophole.

45 employees who had previously worked or volunteered with the Hillary campaigns, the Obama campaigns, or the Obama White House and are now employed by Facebook, Facebook-owned companies, or the Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative. This does not include Facebook employees who do not have Linkedin accounts or neglected to mention past experience on their profiles.

By comparison, former Romney staffers or campaign volunteers who currently work at Facebook returned just seven profiles. A search for McCain staffers returned one profile, who also appeared on the Romney list. A search for staffers from the George W. Bush administration or presidential campaigns returned three profiles while a search for former Trump staffers returned zero profiles.

i work with a guy who is a retired Marine Corps Officer... great guy- I like nd respect him a lot... he despises Trump, but when pressed all you can get from him are media talking points.

... and that is what happens when an small but active group controls means to dispersing agenda... most of America believes that there are just clusters of conservatives and there are far more leftists- and i wouldn't argue that believe it or not.  what i would suggest, though, is without the iron fist control over media either social, print, television or online, at least 75% of those on the far left wouldn't be on the far left but instead middle at worst.  it's group think at it's worst.  Hell, i'm of the opinion half to three quarters of hollywood wave the liberal flag in effort not to be ostracized plain and simple.... but these are manipulations.

collecting data from unwitting people is more than just manipulation- using that ill gotten data to silence opposition is far from just manipulation.  it's flat wrong.  i would say that 'if the left ever found the right was doing this it would be a pure outrage', but... the left IS claiming that, but blaming the ruskies- and all because regular people saw through the hag they offered, and elected a clown instead.

this is going to end badly, y'all.  it really is.

and one more thing- and only if i'm wrong about it 'ending badly' :  the dems of this day and age have done more to make people vote against them for the rest of time more so than anything any other party has done to 'steal' those votes.

I fear most of the younger population has been brainwashed to the extent recovery, if it ever occurs is decades away

I agree Dan. The young’ns 25 and under are nearly a lost cause. There are some great young conservatives in the bunch but they probably represent only about 20%. My son actually dislikes most of his generation a lot. He’s put off by their lack of common sense, participation trophy attitude, gullibility, and abundance of ignorance.

How much is of our doing by letting the NEA by with it?

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-04-12/heres-personal-data-facebook-keeps-even-after-you-delete-it

Here's The Personal Data That Facebook Keeps Even After You Delete It

SNIP:

Facebook also kept a history of each time I opened Facebook over the last two years, including which device and web browser I used. On some days, it even logged my locations, like when I was at a hospital two years ago or when I visited Tokyo last year.

Facebook keeps a log of this data as a security measure to flag suspicious logins from unknown devices or locations, similar to how banks send a fraud alert when your credit card number is used in a suspicious location. This practice seemed reasonable, so I didn’t try to purge this information.

But what bothered me was the data that I had explicitly deleted but that lingered in plain sight. On my friends list, Facebook had a record of “Removed Friends,” a dossier of the 112 people I had removed along with the date I clicked the “Unfriend” button. Why should Facebook remember the people I’ve cut off from my life?

What Facebook retained about me isn’t remotely as creepy as the sheer number of advertisers that have my information in their databases. I found this out when I clicked on the Ads section in my Facebook file, which loaded a history of the dozen ads I had clicked on while browsing the social network.

Lower down, there was a section titled “Advertisers with your contact info,” followed by a list of roughly 500 brands, the overwhelming majority of which I had never interacted with. Some brands sounded obscure and sketchy - one was called "Microphone Check," which turned out to be a radio show. Other brands were more familiar, like Victoria’s Secret Pink, Good Eggs or AARP.

Facebook said unfamiliar advertisers might appear on the list because they might have obtained my contact information from elsewhere, compiled it into a list of people they wanted to target and uploaded that list into Facebook. Brands can upload their customer lists into a tool called Custom Audiences, which helps them find those same people’s Facebook profiles to serve them ads.

You've got to give it to the Democrats. It seems like they're always one step ahead of Republicans. You rarely hear about intra-party fighting with Democrats. They always appear to be on the same page, unlike Republicans.
Then you have Republicans who are constantly fighting amongst themselves and splintering the party. They're horrible at getting their message out. Then you have the Christian right that wants to keep the party in the 1960s on social issues. Add on to that the fact that Republicans spend like Democrats, more often than not, and what do you get?  A douchebag like Trump as president.

Congress Demands To Know How Facebook Got People To Give Up Their Civil Liberties Without A Fight

WASHINGTON—Repeatedly hitting the tech CEO with questions about his social media site’s methodology, members of Congress demanded Wednesday that Mark Zuckerberg tell them exactly how Facebook got people to give up their civil liberties without a fight.

“Mr. Zuckerberg, please explain in detail how you convinced people to voluntarily disclose their location, personal relationships, and interests without anyone protesting you,” said Rep. G.K. Butterfield (D-NC), echoing concerns of members from both parties on the House Energy and Commerce Committee as they sought to understand the means by which Zuckerberg was able to convince more than half of all Americans to relinquish their personal privacy with virtually no argument.

“We want to make sure we have this right: Even after you admitted that your site sold people’s information for profit, could be manipulated to infringe on press freedom, and even convinced people who to vote for, there wasn’t much backlash at all? Could you just outline for us precisely how you can coerce people into believing what you want them to believe without arousing much suspicion or making them mad? Thank you.”

At press time, Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) was asking Zuckerberg to walk Congress through how they could make the Patriot Act into a social media site.
