https://nypost.com/2021/02/13/new-york-times-employees-feel-they-cant-speak-freely-survey/

SNIP:
About half of New York Times employees said in a recent internal survey that they don’t believe they can speak freely at the paper.

In response to the statement, “There is a free exchange of views in this company; people are not afraid to say what they really think,” only 51% of Times employees responded in the affirmative.

In company comments that accompanied the December poll’s findings, which were viewed by The Post, the 51 percent was noted as being 10% lower than the “benchmark.”

I didn't "speak freely" when I was working either.  I imagine that isn't unusual.

How about the only person killed during the capitol riot Ashly Babbitt. We all know a capitol police lieutenant killed her, but we don't know his name or anything else about him. Now if this was a BLM protestor, under the same scenario, well lets just say it wouldn't happen

While I'm not saying her participation was lawful, there still should be full disclosure of the incident....but then again...the media doesn't care and we all know why.

I don't think that is the fault of the media, the authorities have been slow walking information on various items that occurred.

I THINK that, as I stated, based on the slow release on information we've seen to date.  No media outlet has had information about this very quickly.

Now, perhaps they ALL are hiding it, but that is implausible to me.

Eventually, some analysis will come out on the shooting just as the clarification came out on the officer's death (I didn't see a cause of death yet, but not blunt force trauma).

No, they're not all hiding it.  They're just remarkably incurious and don't particularly want to know the truth if it conflicts in any way with their preferred narrative.

Tucker Carlson: What we still don't know about the Capitol riot | Fox News
Tucker Carlson: What we still don't know about the Capitol riot | Fox News

Babbitt was shot as she tried to crawl through a broken window into the Speaker's Lobby within the Capitol, and that's essentially the extent of what we know. Authorities have refused to release the name of the man who shot her or divulge any details of the investigation they say they've done. We may never know exactly why this unnamed Capitol Hill police officer took her life.

According to that officer's attorney, "There is no way to look at the evidence and think that he is anything but a hero." Of course, we can't actually look at that evidence, because they're withholding it. We can't even know his identity. Killing an unarmed woman may be justified under certain specific circumstances, but since when is it heroic? When the dead woman has read QAnon websites? Republicans aren't asking that question.

If the above is correct, I'd say authorities are slow walking information release.  And yes, they should be pestered constantly to get it released.

Someone briefly got into the Twatter page on Wikipedia for an unauthorized bit of editorial honesty, and took a screenshot before the digital flatfoots arrived:
