Perhaps they will.

(she only removed her mask to expose her Asian race but she broke the WH rule when she did)

You must be Chinese.

The question was absurd and not justified at all, in my view.

It was ridiculous.  She was not looking to add information to the national discussion.

I personally would have not responded at all.

Translated I did not watch very closely or I wold have seen during her attempt at a gotcha she had her and posed to rip the mask off at the moment she decide show mock indignation

The question was reasonable and justified as she was asking stupid questions trying to make a headline or initiate a confrontation. I will never admit that the  so called press is a national embarrassments. Thank God that never did that to Lord Obama every time he's in front of a microphone

However I find it disgraceful that so many disparage the Peoples Republic of China.

President Harry S. Truman said: “The fundamental basis of this nation’s laws was given to Moses on the Mount.  The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teachings…  If we don't have the proper fundamental moral background, we will finally wind up with a totalitarian government which does not believe in rights for anybody except the state.”

And to think this article didn't come from FOX News but from ABC News. From July 22, 2009 through January 14, 2010 Obama ignored his responsibility to appease the entitled media. The horror. 6 months without a press conference. Yet Trump is blasted by the media and @fuzzynavol  for ending a press conference due to ignorant questions. I'm sure the blasting from the entitled media and Fuzz isn't biased though. The Left is never biased isn't that right Fuzz.

Obama Gives Speeches, Interviews But Few Press Conferences

Jan. 14, 2010— -- There's a tug of war in every administration between the White House and the media that cover it. Reporters want more access and more quality time to question the president, while staffers want to control how the message plays. The two goals are quite often at odds.

In the era of Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and blogs, the Obama Administration has been savvy about how it communicates its message and seems to agree with the previous administration on at least one point: Go around the media filter and engage directly with the U.S. public.

At issue is whether the president has an obligation to take questions on a regular basis from the group of reporters that cover him daily. The reporters say yes. The White House says, well, we choose to do that differently.

President Obama has not held a full news conference at the White House since July 22.

I don't get much/any useful information when the questions asked are political.

I can think of a lot of USEFUL questions to ask, like what have we learned about immunity, how is the vaccine development going, etc.

Blasted by "the media?"  I posted an accurate, unslanted tweet, Trump did, in fact, end a press conference abruptly.  Should the WaPo go out of their way to keep that a secret?  It would have been news if Obama had done it, too.  You can watch it for yourself to decide whether Trump's actions were justified.  The event was certainly what passes for "news" these days of a 24 hour news cycle.

Once again, I just have to laugh.

The question was silly, as was the first reporter's feigned outrage.  President Trump has repeatedly and justifiably put the onus for covid19 on China.  He has said this numerous times to numerous reporters regardless of their ethnicity.

The press conference was ended because the second reporter who was called on didn't ask her question when she had the chance and then started complaining and interrupting when the President called on another reporter.

The question was "why is this a global competition to you?"

His answer was to tell the person to "ask China."

The question was fine. There was nothing unfair or gotcha about it. To claim otherwise is silly. His answer made no sense at all and probably offended the woman, who is Chinese but grew up in West Virginia.

There is no bases in fact it is a global competition. That makes it a gotcha type of question. It was stupid and did not begin to show any measure of the role of Journalism, Who, What, When, Where and Why

The interaction followed upon a question from Weijia Jiang from CBS News. Jiang is an Asian American.
"You have said many times that the U.S. is doing far better than any other country when it comes to testing. Why does that matter, why is this a global competition to you if every day Americans are still losing their lives and we are still seeing more cases?" Jiang asked.
"Well they're losing their lives every day in the world, maybe that's a question you should ask China," the president responded.
"Don't ask me, ask China that question OK? When you ask them that question you may get a very unusual answer!" he added.
The president tried to take another question, but Jiang interrupted.
"Sir, why are you saying that to me, specifically," she asked, "that I should ask China?"

"I'm telling you! I'm not saying it specifically to anybody, I'm saying it to anybody that would ask a nasty question like that," Trump replied.
"It's not a nasty question!" she interjected.
Trump then pointed to Kaitlin Collins from CNN News, but she also got into an argument with the president. He then announced that he briefing was over and walked away abruptly.
This is not the first time the president has argued with the CBS News reporter. In April he told her that she should be ashamed of herself for asking what he called a "nasty" question about Jared Kushner, his son-in-law.

She is a hack and when she ripped he mask off she should have been escorted off the grounds and her credentials pulled

And like clockwork you chime in to prove you have no clue what you're talking about.
You're hopeless.
If you had been watching all of the pressers you would know these two reporters only ask gotcha' questions and are extremely rude when preventing other reporters from asking their questions.
And like all of the other sheep who blindly follow CNN ( when you're not watching the Comedy Network) you still think CNN is a news network rather than a DNC propaganda network.

Apparently Sam has not been watching any credible news networks since he wasn't aware that it's now believed that China has been hacking our medical research and attempting to patent new drugs being tested in order to corner the market on a virus drug. Which in effect does make the medical researing and worldwide competition.

Why should I care if this is some global competition or not?  What does that even mean?  What sort of serious response does that question merit?

I think "Go ask China" is not a serious response, fine, but the question is absurd.  Ask a stupid question ....

Trump wants to spin this as positively as he can.  We all know that.  The question is simply absurd.

I doubt they could steal our research and patent off the stolen material.  It doesn't work that way, and of course a US Patent is only valid in the US.  Any company with a decent lead on a new drug files at least a provisional patent rather quickly.  Then they have a stake for a year to do more testing and assess whether they should file a perfected application in the US, and the elsewhere.

By the time China stole something interesting, any US company would already have filed.

And a Chinese patent is pretty much worth spit.
