These guys are serious.  The most dangerous thing we can do is ignore them.

This is a tiny minority of the population, just as those on the extreme right are a tiny minority.

Just a few misguided youths
I've not seen any of them around me, therefor they don't exist

President Harry S. Truman said: “The fundamental basis of this nation’s laws was given to Moses on the Mount.  The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teachings…  If we don't have the proper fundamental moral background, we will finally wind up with a totalitarian government which does not believe in rights for anybody except the state.”

They exist, certainly, and they make noise and do damage, but their NUMBERS are small in the real world.

Ignore Mao and his small rowdy band of radicals.
Ignore Lenin and his mob.
Ignore Hitler and his followers.

They may not be in the majority or even close to one - but don't think that they cannot turn the table over.

Again, how many does it take to start a war?

In my view, a lot more than exist here currently, a LOT more, and they'd need to be more capable than they appear to me to be.

One can define "extremists" as being the one percenters on each side of the spectrum, and every community has them, both.

As I look at most of the "Antifa" folks who have been arrested, they mostly resemble failures, skinny kids without a clue about how to foment a revolt.  There could well be some more capable folks behind it of course.  But they seem less effective than say the Red Brigade or the Weathermen of yore.

Social media and the news media have, in my view, HYPED the story well past any reality.  That is my OPINION.  Were they more capable, I'd expect to see more explosions, sniper attacks, infrastructure attacks, etc., of more consequence than throwing ice bottles and a few Molotovs.

Now I'm going for a nice walk.

You want to see Russian intelligence in action? Chinese? They're the ones "fomenting" .... theyre funding, and providing logistics these "skinny failures" and in league with not only democrat activist organizations such as "open borders" but also through our media and the democrat party.

Did you know the Ku Klux Klan was arranged as a veterans society after the war?  It didn't have anything to do with "midnight riders"... until.. people started to understand the very same people purporting to "lead" the KKK were ALSO those organizing and leading "midnight rides".  Once congress reviewed the circumstance it was ordered to be broken up- NOT the "midnight riders", as they were just an idea- a concept- they were left alone as they didn't exist... the Klan was broken up... why? Because the same people drove both groups.  Because the midnight riders infiltrated and overrun the Klan.  Because the klan was 'real' and something that 'could' be eliminated officially.

I would love the same 'logic' to be applied to the Democrats and the media.

I dont support anything to do with the klan, especially after their reformation in the early 1900's where they emerged an open WASP group intent to overtake govt and society... openly. ..openly except for those hoods, I guess... they had a presidential candidate at one point.  They had several senators and house seats... in state posts they were everywhere.  Just a small bunch of misfits, mind you.

And insofar as those intent to start a war? .... through training and experience with insurgency and counter insurgency, I can promise (but it doesn't fit your world view so I expect you to reject) it doesn't take many.... at all... there just has to be division present.  Political. Racial. Economically.  Oh, coincidentally the same division the media harps on and the leftist campaigns rely on, and a war can be seeded and sparked with a small group.  A very small group.  Like, oh I dont know, the group that assassinated the Duke of Austria Ferdinand?  I mean... that didn't cause much ruckus did it?

They are clear. (and honest)

It's Communism vs Capitalism.

Ignore at your own risk.

In my view, the vast majority of Americans want the same things, they have somewhat different ideas about to achieve them.  Very very few aspire to a totalitarian government, it's not in our culture.

Except it doesn't seem like we hear nearly as much from the extreme right though.

The extreme left is really loud and in your face, with zero pushback from the "center left."

When a Democrat is President, one tends to hear more from the Right (not really the extreme right).

It is easier to assail than to defend, and provides more motivation.

If we consider the "extreme right" as being Skinheads, the KKK, and their ilk, they tend to keep their heads down, usually.  The "extreme left" appears to be "more protected" in places like Portland so they can exercise their, um, "free speech" and arson rights.

i wish 'arson rights' was just a joke... but it's more than that.

i agree that at least 98% of the US population just wants to live and let live- work- earn- buy- enjoy security- recreate- reproduce- raise their children- breath... but they don't have anything to do with the likely nearing 2% who want what they want and don't give a damn how that impacts you... what makes them most dangerous is that they literally have a notion it's for 'everyone's good'... that, they truly believe- it's better for everyone except those they've deemed enemy.... that list keeps expanding.  it is THE DEFINITION (in a political sense) of 'mob' and what our founders warned us about..... the 'mob' HAS to have an enemy.  they must have that rally point to adhere together.  they'll include whomever they need to in effort to gain followers- and because this isn't about 'political revolution' and it isn't about a 'movement'- this is about division and disruption- so the elite group backing it can gain.  They were and are called 'useful idiots' and will be the second wiped clear once they've served their purpose (and only after the 'enemy' is).

and.......

it doesn't take that many.  a 'true' assault on an American city through terrorist tactics would cause martial law federally- and then? all bets are off how the nation reacts.... I don't see, especially after these recent 'rallies' where Trump is standing room only even in the midst of a plandemic, and when you can count the attendees on one hand of the 'other' side, Trump losing... and when he wins? The 'organized' left will revolt calling in absentee ballots... stretching the declaration of victor until Jan 20... if you or anyone can't see that plan, I don't even know what to say... this, to the chagrin of the 'so far silent' patriots of this nation... the terrorists groups already have a plan and there is no choice but to take it serious- they intend to cause as much 'civil unrest' as possible.  they've SAID that. they've posted friggin' instructions on the web- though the complicit media won't cover it.  those 'instructions' could easily be viewed as mobilization- and they damn sure would if it was a right leaning group that did it.

the point is- like the example i gave between the Klan and the midnight riders, the democrats and the media are one and the same as the terrorist groups such as ANTIFA and BLM.  they are comprised of the same people, and the same people are both.  Or, are you to suggest there was even ONE 'republican' protesting (which has become synonymous with rioting)?

some folks are too smart for their own good... they'll take a fist to the face with all the might of the person who dispatched it and wonder "now, why did that happen? what led up to it? what should the response be? should it be measured or reflexive? what was the terminal velocity of the fist as it collided with my cranium? what factor does that impact? Has the assailant been impacted by the depletion of their 401k due to programmatic or policy alterations by a third party which led to their assault? Should this be where I begin my line of questioning once I get my jaw to work again?".......

there has never been more cause for alarm than there is right now in this nation.  it is on the cusp of something- and life will never return to what it was.  i look at my child and her friends playing without cares such as >10year old children should, and, i realize her life will never have the opportunity nor the security mine did- and her children? I shudder.

so.... don't tell me the piss running off my back is rain.  that makes you party of the disruption.  willfully disregarding the organized and orchestrated intent to break the foundational piers of this nation, an election, is in league with actually doing it.  I don't give a red F which side of the aisle a person sits- at least there are aisles in such a comparison... if these twits are successful?

who was it? Nebuchadnezzar? He who overthrew Solomon's Temple? Is it him who also said (paraphrased) "So long as my grandson's grandson reigns, I'm okay with that..".... @Cincydawg that is pretty much how i interpret your position- "so long as it doesn't impact me I could care less".... and, unfortunately, you are legion with the many American's with their heads in the sand (that is presuming there is sand up their asses)..
