It's true that I questioned his associations with communists, racketeers, and black liberation theology.

So what's you come up with after your "questioning?"  Were you able to confirm that Obama is a black liberation theologist?

I decided that while I would pay attention to what he said, I would judge him based on what he did.

You may actually believe that, as wholly absurd and untrue as it is.  So what did he do to convince you he's a "black liberation theologist?"

I had a stake in the future of the country.  I'd rather be wrong and have the country prosper than be right and see the country suffer.

I'm glad you consider yourself so noble, but once again, you really don't know yourself very well.

At best, he will be judged to be a horrible president.

Only in your perverted reality where he's a black liberation theologist.

At worst, he will end up embroiled in a scandal that will make Watergate pale in comparison.

What?  You're still pining away for that elusive mega-scandal since the Republicans confessed what was that "Benghazi" was a political charade after 7 investigations?

When the truth comes out, we'll see if you are outraged at his abuse of power

Are we still talking about Obama?  You're under some delusion that there's some awful "truth" out there waiting to "come out" to vindicate all your vitriol?  How sad.

or if you are still talking about Trump's alleged affair with a porn star.

Alleged?  You really are impervious to facts, aren't you?

Obama attended Jeremiah Wright's church, Trinity United Church of Christ, for 20 years.   He was married in that church.   His children were baptized in that church.   The church taught, and still teaches, black liberation theology.   Surely after 20 years, Jeremiah ("God Damn Amerika") Wright had an impact on Obama's beliefs.  That why I mentioned his association with black liberation theology.

Did you conveniently forget, or are you going to try to evade the truth again?

I'll wait for an honest answer from you.

That was for political connections.  He's not responsible for everything that has ever come out of Wright's mouth, and has repudiated the inflammatory parts of his rhetoric that he wasn't actually present to witness.

I have attended Catholic Church which has been exposed in a world-wide conspiracy that went all the way to the top to cover up and perpetuate child molestation for decades (if not centuries) spending $billions in hush money.  And I accept no responsibility for their actions.

Your's is the kind of partisan desperation that gives me such comfort that I'm in the right political camp.

That why I mentioned his association with black liberation theology.

You mention it because you don't have any legitimate complaints.

I'll wait for an honest answer from you.

Happy to deliver.

Actually Hillary’s margin of victory was 2.1% of the popular vote
The "popular" vote thing is such a myth.  If elections were decided on popular vote, Republicans would turn out in droves in both Texas and California.  The "why bother" states.

We should mail out $10 to all registered voters, and charge a $10 poll tax.

Only then have you properly qualified and disqualified voters.

So you're admitting Obama lived a lie for 20 years?  Or are you saying Barack and Michelle didn't know the theological stance of the pastor who married them?   Maybe Obama was just mistaken for those 20 years?

I can't wait to hear Baghdad Bob's response.

I like it... and it would absolutely thin the heard- and well worth the monetary losses.  furthermore, it would be a boon for crack dealers everywhere.

Well, I realize I was being facetious, but think it through.  The point of a poll tax is to narrow voters down to the ones who truly give a dang, right?  Those vested in our country's best interests.

But some are poor, right?  So mail out the cost of the poll tax, and say do with it what you will.

Yes I know, it's a devious way to weed out those who are voting only for bread and circuses.  Well I mean.... Democrats.

No more so than you are.  You're not going to church in secret and anonymously - you're going because it's part of your communal and social identity, just like he did.  It's just that part of his benefits were also political.  I'm sure if you were planning on running for office, you'd look at your church as a valuable network as well.

Or are you saying Barack and Michelle didn't know the theological stance of the pastor who married them?

As he said, not 100% of it - no.  He wasn't present for every single sermon over the past 40 years, and wouldn't be responsible for every word of them if he had been.  Why aren't you willing to allow Obama's repudiation of Wright's words speak for themselves?  Why do you have to try to cast undeserved aspersions?  Don't you have anything legitimate to criticize Obama for?

Do fairness and reason simply hold no appeal for you?

money and life seem to be the only clarifying agent on the planet...

as a sniper, we used to say "truth lies in the crosshairs" thinking we were clever with the redundant meaning of 'lies'... and even the most outspoken person demanding 'somethingsomething' from the G.O.V. shut the hell up when it comes time to pay for it (upon request).

the "poll tax" would absolutely thin out those who are detached from realities of policies.... who'd rather have a beer and a laugh than try to peacefully 'do something about it'.  of course it would also invite special interest voters galore, such as the LBGTLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ crowd in their full glory.

I'll give obama just one kudo, at least he was smart enough not to bite off the hand that fed him, he just continually nipped and barked enough to appease all those bigot's, elitists, seditious, treasonous and homosexuals that made up his base.....

LOL Fuzzy, you are quite the loyal apologist.  Obama could have sent innocent people to the gas chamber and you would attack those that criticized him for it.

I'm a hard-core Obama supporter, no doubt.  But on matters of religion, I've criticized his refusal to condemn islamic ideology, and don't think he should have ever attended ANY church, much less Rev. Wright's.

I just had to call out your inflammatory BS about "black separatist theology."

You know I'm right.

i don't question @P1tchBlack 's intelligence... i question his education/understanding and experience/exposure.  he just doesn't get simple concepts, or, at least he pitches a good game in argument (but the argument's he usually presents betrays his attempt to present himself as a formidable debater)
Bingo
President Harry S. Truman said: “The fundamental basis of this nation’s laws was given to Moses on the Mount.  The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teachings…  If we don't have the proper fundamental moral background, we will finally wind up with a totalitarian government which does not believe in rights for anybody except the state.”
