I think any trend in new cases is important to watch.  GA may be trending up now, so it will start to hit the "news", predictably.

AL numbers appear askew. 676 new cases yesterday, most of any day by far. Only 67 today so far with 5,000 tested. Deaths have been trending down. Hospitalizations pretty flat for 7 weeks. Hot spot is Montgomery. Almost no new cases in Huntsville.

President Harry S. Truman said: “The fundamental basis of this nation’s laws was given to Moses on the Mount.  The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teachings…  If we don't have the proper fundamental moral background, we will finally wind up with a totalitarian government which does not believe in rights for anybody except the state.”

GA showed an elevated number of new cases reported yesterday and a spike in deaths, which be from infections started days ago.  The governor says hospital capacity is fine.  This could put GA back in the news.

It's not his area of purported expertise, really, he should be dealing with medical issues, though economic issues can become medical issues.

Rhea County jumped from 15 to 185 or so. They tested some migrant workers on a farm nearby. They tested positive and were quarantined. People are now being more careful overnight with many more masks out and about Than just a couple of days ago.

Testing will continue to increase the cases. With the numbers of death inflated through incentivizing, no way to really tell whether it is getting worse or better. My bet is that many people will get it, be asymptomatic and that older folks will be more and more careful. We will see.

Pretty much nails everything about this blundering administration.  I've said as much about "inheriting a 'broken' test" for a virus that didn't exist.
