Seattle / Portland riots

HOW DO YOU KNOW THE URBAN INSURRECTION HAS FAILED? BECAUSE THE NYT, AFTER FLYING COVER FOR MONTHS, IS THROWING DEMOCRATIC MAYORS UNDER THE BUS: Abolish the Police? Those Who Survived the Chaos in Seattle Aren’t So Sure. What is it like when a city abandons a neighborhood and the police vanish? Business owners describe a harrowing experience of calling for help and being left all alone.

What follows is excellent reporting, a sign that the NYT can still do that if it wants to. But until today it hasn’t wanted to. The Democrats’ internal polling must be truly horrific.

But the real question is why is the NYT breaking its relative silence now? Again, I think the polls must be awful, and they’re readying a Biden law and order pivot.

ISSUES & INSIGHTS: No Doubt About It: Democrats Are Part Of The Riot Problem. “The Democrats’ silence when asked to condemn Antifa violence is coming through louder than a deranged Joe Biden outburst on the campaign trail.”

SNIP:
New York Democrat Jerry Nadler didn’t hit the mute button when he absurdly claimed Antifa was “imaginary,” then later said its role in the Portland riots was a “myth that’s being spread only in Washington D.C.”

But the congressman set the tone for his party.

During Tuesday’s Senate hearing – titled The Right of the People Peaceably to Assemble: Protecting Speech by Stopping Anarchist Violence – Democrats had a wide open opportunity to state their position. Instead, they went quiet.

“It is unbelievable the Democrats will not come out and say violence is wrong, breaking the law is wrong,” Tennessee Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn told Fox News.

To her credit, Hawaii Sen. Mazie Hirono, the top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, asked “how many times have I had to say that we all should be denouncing violent extremists of every stripe?” during the hearing. But when asked by Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz, the subcommittee chairman, if that included Antifa, she dodged the question.

“I have the time,” was Hirono’s non-responsive response.

Apparently rather than be confronted again about the Democrats’ tacit approval of Antifa, Hirono, whose position and power in the Senate Judiciary Committee makes her a de facto spokesman for the party, simply walked out of the hearing.

GOOD AND HARD:
Even the New York Times has figured out that the “new normal” isn’t sustainable: Abolish the Police? Those Who Survived the Chaos in Seattle Aren’t So Sure. What is it like when a city abandons a neighborhood and the police vanish? Business owners describe a harrowing experience of calling for help and being left all alone.

Those places are chasing away all the good cops. Soon, they will be left with goons that no one else would hire. They think they had problems with police brutality before? Oh man, the hard times have just begun.

Talked to a detective in a small city 25 miles from Seattle. He says they’ve had no problems with protests and no change in community relations. They have three new cops this month, who all moved laterally from Seattle. They receive new Seattle applications every single day.

When they venture into middle America.
This is what we'll see more of in the future as these idiots come out of the cities. Good thing Fuzz has a plethora of Trump supporters in his neighborhood.

Right now people are still in a defensive posture.  WHEN it becomes aggressive, watch out.

There will be no police to assist else the police will be called biased at the least toward the left... they've already constructed the barrier between federal police, national guard and military... who, then?

Go ahead and make fun of me.  The UN.  And when that happens we're totally done, and Americans will discover the luxury they had and the security they enjoyed in hind sight.  Dumb. Mother. *$%!%&^...
