parents listening in on virtual classes

A Philadelphia public school teacher is curious about how educators will cope with “conservative parents" listening in on virtual classes, according to a thread captured on Twitter.
According to a report by the Daily Wire, Matthew Kay, who teaches English at the Science Leadership Academy said on the social media platform that he is concerned about the “damage” that “helicopter parents” might cause if they overhear lessons on topics such as gender and sexuality.

President Harry S. Truman said: “The fundamental basis of this nation’s laws was given to Moses on the Mount.  The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teachings…  If we don't have the proper fundamental moral background, we will finally wind up with a totalitarian government which does not believe in rights for anybody except the state.”

Not in the long run... bit we can buy time and teach our children well how to weather the coming storm.

The more kids in private schools, parochial schools, and home schools, the better we will be.

Keeping kids away from public schools does more damage to communism than it does to Covid.

I don't have children, but I can see where parents getting more involved in their child's education could lead to many negatives such as learning true American history and perhaps becoming better prepared for good careers. They may even learn about the sacrifices their ancestors made to form this once great Nation and the reasons they now enjoy freedom and prosperity.

Parents could also teach them respect for others and their country. Worse yet, they could grow up actually making positive contributions. More would likely not get pregnant out of wedlock and stay away from drugs with more support and encouragement from their parents.

Many may even grow up not being dependent on the Government, which is completely unacceptable.
