This is a comical, inadvertent admission that conservatives didn't care about the testimony at the hearings because their minds were already made up.

Pretty impressive - keep em coming, HK.

Innocent until proven guilty, fuzzy.

It's kind of a thing in this country (unless you're a bonafide Trump hater).

I just want to get Fuzz's understanding.

A single testimony by a single person with zero substantiation or corroboration is all that it takes to find a person guilty.

No one substantiated or corroborated her allegations.  Period.

https://thefederalist.com/2019/09/15/new-book-christine-blasey-fords-friend-leland-keyser-doesnt-believe/

SNIP:
A group text was formed in which friends such as Cheryl Amitay and Lulu Gonella discussed how to get her to say something more helpful to the cause. An unnamed man on the text suggested that they defame her as an addict. Keyser has been in recovery for some time, as her friends know and as has previously been reported.

Amitay answered, “Leland is a major stumbling block.” While asserting she didn’t want her to make anything up out of whole cloth, she offered ideas for things that could sound supportive of Ford’s story, such as that she’d been in similar situations with Blasey Ford that summer.

“I was told behind the scenes that certain things could be spread about me if I didn’t comply,” Keyser told the reporters, a stunning admission of the pressure to which she was subjected to by Blasey Ford’s allies.

As previously reported in “Justice on Trial,” Keyser continues to think about the story in which she was supposed to have played a part. She has both “logistical and character-driven” problems with it. Focusing on one of the angles that many women had trouble believing, she says, “It would be impossible for me to be the only girl at a get-together with three guys, have her leave, and then not figure out how she’s going to get home.”

The authors previously note that Blasey Ford suggested that Keyser might have driven her home, which they do not note is a change from her claim that she does not know how she got home. Keyser also reflects that the get-togethers of their youth were not like the one Ford described. She adds, “I just really didn’t have confidence in the story.”

I think the universal thinking of this board is that Fuzz is either delusional or that his ego won't allow him to admit he once again made premature and false accusations about Kavanaugh.
I have to smile at the thought of any of us making similar accusations about one of his liberal heros with  non existent evidence which amounts to a thinly veiled smear campaign.

But remember: we are all Fox-News-watching-ditto-head-partisans.  Fuzz has managed to break free of his bias and can clearly see the unbiased truth ... as plainly reported by CNN and the NY Times.

Exactly, don’t we all wish we were Fuzz 2.0’s. We’d be walking tall non-partisan’s with a wealth of knowledge obtained through non-partisan news outlets like CNN and MSNBC.

Yes, that would be good.

A single testimony by a single person with zero substantiation or corroboration is all that it takes to find a person guilty.

That's completely false.  Kavanaugh has been proven to have told multiple lies during his testimony that are unrelated to Ford's specific charges.  I happen to believe her, but even if everything she said was a complete fabrication, that wouldn't change the fact that Kavanaugh lied throughout his testimony.  The delicious irony is that you guys keep accusing me of "digging a hole" for myself, when in fact, it is Kavanaugh who's halfway to China.

No one substantiated or corroborated her allegations.  Period.

Period?  So are you channeling Billy now?

You should have read the article in the OP that Roady dishonestly claimed was retracted.

We’re approaching the anniversary of one of the nastiest political battles it has been my misfortune to witness—the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court despite credible accusations of sexual harassment and assault and his shockingly partisan and untruthful statements at his hearing. His confirmation was pushed through thanks in part to a sham FBI investigation, the absurd limits and constraints of which continue to emerge as people come forward to say no one wanted the information they had to offer.

Those of us who would have liked to know the full truth—through a thorough FBI investigation that questioned all the relevant parties and witnesses, including the principals—remain unimpressed by angry claims that accused men like Kavanaugh aren’t getting “due process.” Republicans devised the very process they went on to angrily condemn, but it was Christine Blasey Ford (and Deborah Ramirez) who were cheated of anything like real fact-finding. No process was followed here. This was domination theater, and it was a bad gamble. The stakes were too high for the GOP to make this play. It would be one thing if the egregiousness of Kavanaugh’s confirmation didn’t last—if it had flared during those awful September days last year and then faded just as quickly. But this will not fade. Kavanaugh’s bizarre fibs and self-serving lies under oath; his tantrums and threats; the odd effort to cast the allegation as a case of mistaken identity
; the inexplicable refusal to subpoena the one witness to Blasey Ford’s accusation, Mark Judge, who went into hiding—these things happened a year ago, but their effects are permanent.

If Kavanaugh’s defenders hoped that no other details would come out, or that they wouldn’t matter once he was confirmed, they were wrong. It’s hard to imagine a more injurious way for this story to unfold. Kavanaugh’s alleged alcohol-fueled “youthful indiscretions” were awful on their own, no matter how long ago they happened. The claim that investigating them would have risked unfairly penalizing responsible adults for embarrassing behavior omits that Kavanaugh did not admit to this conduct or claim he has grown wiser over the years.
