And yes, in my opinion, MSNBC's web site is massively worse than NPR's, which is massively better.  If anyone has a different opinion they are of course welcome to share that, here, or not.

Ahmaud Arbery's killers being found guilty brings a small measure of relief (msnbc.com)
Ahmaud Arbery's killers being found guilty brings a small measure of relief (msnbc.com)

That is marked opinion but it's their current headline.

She was being asked about the Black rebellion in Los Angeles after the acquittal of the white police recorded beating Rodney King.
“What struck me most about the people who were burning down shops and stealing was how long they waited — the restraint, not the spontaneity, the restraint,” she said on the Charlie Rose show. “They waited — how long was it? Nine months? A year? They waited for justice, and it didn’t come.”
I think, in some weird way, that is where I am finding hope today: in the fact that we as Black people in America who know all too well from slavery to the case of Arbery's killing that this country will do anything and everything to not stop the violence. But yet we push on. And will keep pushing on.

In Japan they haven't had as much inflation because companies have refused to raise prices.

Also because Japan's economy has been shrinking, not growing.
But cracks are beginning to occur....

SNIP:
In early November, Yamazaki Baking Co. said it would raise prices on its bread lineup by an average of 7.3% starting Jan. 1, reflecting the higher cost of flour, sugar, energy and shipping. Kikkoman Corp. , citing higher soybean prices, said its soy-sauce prices would rise 4% to 10% starting in February.

JONATHAN TURLEY: What Elephant? The Media Again Buries A Hunter Biden Scandal on Foreign Deals During the Biden Vice Presidency.

They knew that Biden was corrupt and incompetent and on the Chinese payroll when they installed him as president. But the ‘cabal’ only cared about replacing Trump. What were they doing that made Trump such a desperate threat?

https://pjmedia.com/news-and-politics/matt-margolis/2021/11/25/washington-post-says-waukesha-massacre-was-caused-by-an-suv-n1536335

The Waukesha massacre doesn’t fit the narrative the mainstream media typically likes to promote, so they’ve been generally trying to ignore it.

If certain details were different, the story would be getting endless coverage and analysis. But, even when the MSM does cover it, somehow, they manage to beclown themselves.

Case in point: The Washington Post. The Jeff Bezos-owned publication published an in-depth analysis of how the massacre unfolded, declaring, “Here’s what we know so far on the sequence of events that led to the Waukesha tragedy caused by a SUV.”
“Caused by a SUV”?
Really? An SUV caused the tragedy? Who wrote that line?
I’m not kidding either. This is not a joke or a hoax.

LEFTIST HISTORY MYTHS DEBUNKED AGAIN: Down the 1619 Project’s Memory Hole.

Quote

The history of the American Revolution isn’t the only thing the New York Times is revising through its 1619 Project. The “paper of record” has also taken to quietly altering the published text of the project itself after one of its claims came under intense criticism. . . . Whatever the exact occasion for the changes, the Times did not disclose its edits or how they obscured one of the most controversial claims in the entire 1619 Project. They simply made the problematic passages disappear, hoping that nobody would notice.
Airbrushing is an established leftist technique.

MSNBC strikes me as similar to this place, in reverse.  Everything is failing and disasters await.  This is what leftists fear, a fascist takeover by the Right based on voter suppression, gerrymandering, control of the media storylines, SCOTUS packing, and censorship.  I see similar themes on Facebook at times from some folks.  So, the Left believes this stuff, just as the Right believes the opposite.  Where is Truth?

America's democracy is failing — and the world knows it (msnbc.com)
America's democracy is failing — and the world knows it (msnbc.com)

Sweden’s International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA) — pointed to the “visible deterioration of democracy” in the United States on several criteria, including unwillingness to accept credible election results, voter participation suppression efforts, increasing polarization, and declines in civil liberties.
For a country that has long thought of itself as a beacon of democracy, this is a wake-up call.

We also face rising harassment and violence from extremist groups, citizen vigilantes, and unlawful militias who threaten minority groups, disrupt our freedom of assembly and demonstration with shows of violent force, and violate civil rights like the right to “public accommodations,” as recent court rulings have shown. We have seen repeated violent attacks, harassment, and even death threats directed at front-line workers and public officials, including school board members, health care workers, teachers, flight attendants, and restaurant hostesses.

It strikes me you're incapable of rational or intellectual analysis... the idea of vaccine passports was a “vast right-wing conspiracy theory” just 2yrs ago but is now a reality. New COVID vaccine passport process(es) are well underway in multiple countries, some going into beta testing tomorrow. Keep reading that propaganda big fella...

Our government has used Covid as an excuse to turn Australians into digital products. It is the perfect scam.
To achieve this, you must become an object with attributes sitting in a database. Instead of roaming around anonymously without the government’s knowledge, Australians find themselves passing through ‘gates’. These obstacles are deliberately placed in your way to require a manual check-in with the QR system. It is how computers see things. The more gates, the more clarity. If a fault is found, automatic alerts are issued and you are stopped from proceeding. Gate-keeping systems... to micromanage millions of lives with the same ruthless efficiency as barcodes tracking stock... in this soulless digital age... barcodes are binary... good vs bad... citizen or dissident.
Even if you have all the required government attributes to pass through the gates – two vaccines, six boosters, and a lifelong subscription to Microsoft – something could go wrong. If your data fails the scan, you’ll slip into digital purgatory and become an error message.

Smells like this is the new house arrest, only more thorough... noncompliance will ban you from sporting venues, bars, restaurants, grocery stores, amazon acct frozen, bank acct frozen, etc etc etc until you become complaint. This will sprawl: car registration late (ban), unpaid taxes (ban), and will creep into every nook and cranny of your life.
