Louisville, NC State, Conneticut

I should probably envy people who can convince themselves of whatever they want to believe, without regard for reality.

You need more names?

There's more?  Sure!

Outside of your narrative to show UT as a second rate school and your wish to demean Fulmer how do you know that?
Have you talked to people that know what happened? Within UTAD? Friends of Fulmer?
I have.
Believing what John Adams says is almost as reliable as listening to Ballsy Ford.
All you've done is give your personal opinion that UT and Fulmer sucks.
You have zero credibility on this subject.
You can strut and pound your chest and claim how you've shown everyone up all while we're  laughing at your ignorance.
I advised you to find another subject a while back to prevent showing your ignorance even more that what you've already done.. You should take people's advice occasionally

I said it's a middle-of-the-pack football school moving forward.  You have yet to directly disagree with that.

and your wish to demean Fulmer how do you know that?

I like Fulmer, but I like the truth even more.

Have you talked to people that know what happened? Within UTAD? Friends of Fulmer?

I am friends with the owner of the PR firm that was hired toward the end of his coaching career to help with his public image.  He didn't tell me about these potential coaching opportunities that you're imagining, but did give me some confidential insight into some of his personal foibles as perceived by the University that they wanted him to overcome.

I have.

You're full of bologna.  Coaching searches aren't that private, and Fulmer would have bent over backwards to make sure everyone knew someone else wanted him.  None of those universities would have hired him - everyone knows that but you.

Believing what John Adams says is almost as reliable as listening to Ballsy Ford.

I don't listen to Adams, but thanks for bringing up another example of how you can convince yourself of whatever you want.

All you've done is give your personal opinion that UT and Fulmer sucks.

I love Fulmer and UT, but I'm not willing to deceive myself about either.

All you have done is regurgitate chat forum rumors
A PR firm would not release confidential correspondence especially when Fulmer was not seeking a coaching job.
If you  know a PR firm  and they told you he had talked to anyone they should have been terminated immediately.
You simply tried to minimize Fulmer based on rumor and backed yourself in a corner again.
You keep repeating the same mistakes you've made for years on these boards

Btw..
You claim you like Fulmer just as you said you liked Trump .  And expect people to believe you?
You make it too easy to pick up on your false claims.

Funny

Fuzz I am sorry but you are speaking based on your emotions and not facts.

There are lots of coaches approached that the media and you know nothing about as they don't want the job, they don't want to embarrass anyone, don't want to impede the schools chances with someone and are not attention whores like some we know
President Harry S. Truman said: “The fundamental basis of this nation’s laws was given to Moses on the Mount.  The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teachings…  If we don't have the proper fundamental moral background, we will finally wind up with a totalitarian government which does not believe in rights for anybody except the state.”

Dan.....I doubt Fuzz knows that schools never directly approach other coaches offering jobs
That is almost always done thru agents of schools and agents of coaches
That way a school has deniability if it gets out they were turned down by a coach. Coaches can deny they were looking and schools can deny they were attempting to poach someone else's coach
That is... everyone but an idiot AD named Currie..
And a PR firm would be the last thing a school or a coach would want in the loop.

There is a lot I doubt he knows.

I think a couple other schools from the South approached him (including at least one SEC school)

The story of him and the AD search in which Curie was hired is interesting. Wonder of the HOH wished they had hired him now instead

Name one.

A PR firm would not release confidential correspondence especially when Fulmer was not seeking a coaching job.

Fulmer said he'd like to keep coaching after his termination, which I thought was unlikely.  I didn't say the PR firm released confidential correspondence, I said I was privy to some of Fulmer's perceived personality foibles in the years prior to his termination.  It's irrelevant other than to point out that while you pretend to have inside connections with the UTAD, I actually had some interesting connections of my own (that are real).

If you know a PR firm and they told you he had talked to anyone they should have been terminated immediately.

No, they didn't tell me anything about him after he was terminated.

You simply tried to minimize Fulmer based on rumor and backed yourself in a corner again.

What "rumor" are you talking about.  He came out in the press in interviews saying he intends to keep coaching.

You keep repeating the same mistakes you've made for years on these boards

I grant you that one - continuing to argue with someone who can't admit when they're wrong is one of my own, personal foibles.

You conveniently forgot that a PR firm would be the last thing in the world a coach or school would consult with if it were confidential.
In regards to Fulmer...he stated he might want to coach again in the future but was taking some time off before deciding
He later got involved in several ventures and  ever actively pursued another coaching job.
The PR firm you speak of  if there was one would have been hired by Hamilton to quiet some of the dust up on the University for firing him.
UT recieved a lot of bad publicity over that and continues
