What's really sad is that I didn't know about this.

Meanwhile, Colin Kapaernick gets massive attention, shoe deals, and accolades for his "bravery" and "heroism".

We've got a messed up society.

Indeed.  Dunn is a good man.  There are a bunch of stories about this guys generosity and his down to earth reasoning... he's an all around good guy.

Do I remember correctly that our punter had to make a textbook tackle on Mr. Dunn, to save a punt return TD?  In the NC game?

I think that was Peter Warrick.

Funny how your memory plays tricks on you.

I remembered a "textbook tackle".  But he didn't wrap up.  If Warrick bounces of that hit -- it's 6.  But Leaverton did an outstanding job of putting himself in position to make the hit.
