This is brilliant.  It is such an obvious application of virtual technology, I'm surprised we haven't seen it before.  It'll be interesting to see where this goes.   Is it a flash in the pan or a game changer?  

This guy, Eric Whitacre, appears to be the originator of this ... genre? technology?
