There are roughly 6500 auto fatalities for those aged 20-24 every year.
That makes 3,250 in the first six months of 2020 for that age group vs. 63 COVID deaths.

Can we please go ahead and ban automobiles?  They're nearly 50 times more deadly than COVID.
A college player is much more likely to die driving to football practice than they are to die from COVID.

If we continue to mitigate all this with continued shutdowns, it could take five or more years for the virus to burn out.

The thing is they will be tested frequently, and some tests give false positives, which means the players or coaches have to isolate at that point until they can be retested.

Trainers, coaches, players, scout team .... a lot of people are going to come up positive.  And if it's a real positive, those others exposed will be subject to isolation as well potentially.
