Another good lady has died.
« on: November 06, 2019, 02:11:40 PM »
One of my wife's best friends has died of the same cancer that killed my wife....

This lady was a great comfort to my wife and me, when my wife was going through all of her agonies....She even drove up here several times from Atlanta to be with us when Hospice took over and my wife's days were truly numbered....

She had called me a few weeks ago and told me she was not doing too well...I did not know her cancer had returned until she was speaking to me and I noticed her voice was weak...She was not hopeful of her immediate future, but she was positive of her final destination; Amen.

In any event, life is the most precious commodity, measured not by cents and dollars, but by days, months, and years.

Cindy was a good Christian Lady, and I never, ever heard her say a bad word about anyone.

I really hate cancer!

I've been reading a lot of her Facebook pages since I found out this sad news......Although she was a Conservative, she didn't waste a lot of time correcting Liberals...She once told me they are the way they are, and that's fine too.

All through her FB pages are Christian sayings....One in particular has grabbed my heart:
"He healed the one that arrested Him....He served the one that betrayed Him...And loved the world that Crucified Him...That's my Jesus."

I will miss this wonderful woman very much.
