Frankfort is a primary gateway city to Germany and many other western European cities. Similar to Atlanta.

All we’ve got to ask ourselves are a few questions.

1. Did America have better race relations in the year 2000 or in 2012?

2. Was there more rioting in the streets of America in the year 2000 or 2012? Who was rioting? Why? Has it continued? Why?

"1. Did America have better race relations in the year 2000 or in 2012?"

2012.  Blacks felt much better after seeing a black man elected president for the 2nd time.

"2. Was there more rioting in the streets of America in the year 2000 or 2012?"

Neither.

"Who was rioting?"

Do you mean demonstrating?  Do you call pre-game tailgating "riots" because occasional fights break out between opposing teams' fans?

But to answer your question - no one.  Aside from the tea party demonstrations after Obama was elected, there wasn't really much going on in the streets until the Republicans nominated and elected a man who bragged of committing sexual assault and women took to the streets on 2016.

"Has it continued? Why?"

Some of it is to protest taking innocent immigrant children away from their mothers.  And some of it is to counter-protest the recent rash of white nationalist rallies.

America had better race relations in 1970.  We were working on healing.

Then Democrats got involved.

Maybe true, but irrelevant to the question.

Amen
President Harry S. Truman said: “The fundamental basis of this nation’s laws was given to Moses on the Mount.  The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teachings…  If we don't have the proper fundamental moral background, we will finally wind up with a totalitarian government which does not believe in rights for anybody except the state.”
