Man, they are the definition of terrorists for striking civilian targets to make political statement.

They're cowards because they're terrorists.

They're evil because they killed so many people in their cowardly terrorist act.

You want to know why so many US servicemen and women have PTSD?  It's often because they've done evil things, and they're not evil. There is a difference.

The perpetrators of 9/11 weren't "cowards,

BS

or "evil,"

BS

 nor were they "terrorists."

BS

There was no political motive.  They weren't 19 deranged, suicidal sociopaths.

BS

They were just young men following their (insidious) religious doctrine.  They were just wrong (or so I believe).
I could say more, but I am trying to be nice

Truman said: “The fundamental basis of this nation’s laws was given to Moses on the Mount.  The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teachings…  If we don't have the proper fundamental moral background, we will finally wind up with a totalitarian government which does not believe in rights for anybody except the state.”

Protecting our country, IMO is not evil. I realize they have to do some things that goes against our nature. But....it is not evil. We are not dealing with rational people who thinks of others, they do not hesitate to use women and children as shield as they know how it affects our decision making process, among other things.

they are the definition of terrorists

There were no political demands or agenda pursued.  The jihadi's martyred themselves to get to heaven.  They state their motives plainly, and we should take them at their word.

for striking civilian targets

The target was "infidels" and they both strike military and civilian targets (including the Pentagon on 9/11).

to make political statement.

What political statement?  The only statement they were making was to the almighty Allah.

They're cowards

It takes courage to be willing to die for your religious beliefs.

They're evil because they killed so many people in their cowardly terrorist act.

I will grant that religious dogma is evil, but if their doctrine is correct as they believe, then they were doing the right thing and are heroes.  None of us here believe they are correct, so it seems absurd to say, but there are millions of people out there who would disagree.

You want to know why so many US servicemen and women have PTSD?  It's often because they've done evil things, and they're not evil. There is a difference.

I'm sure you're right.
